Could you see it? We've seen how disastrous player-to-owner moves has been for franchises like Charlotte and Indiana but LeBron has already shown he knows how to build a team. He called the shots in his second stint in Cleveland and lead them to a championship in his second year.

If the stars align and Les is ready to sell the team would LeBron be a good choice?

I think Mattress Mack would be a good choice for the Rockets ownership

LeBron beat the warriors so bad, he made bob myers go out and hire mike brown(LeBrons ex coach) to see and how to contain him

You dont sell a cash cow. Houston doesn't fit the narrative anyway and everyone knows it.

Les will be dead by the time LeBron can afford to own an NBA franchise.

I believe many people could be a better owner than Les... doing absolutely nothing would be a better option than Les... but that said, I wouldn't have high expectations of Lebron in the role...

I get that Lebron basically built the current Cavaliers squad and it had success, but Lebron seems like the kind of guy who takes care of his friends and his agents' clients too much to really be successful as a decision maker on a team that doesn't have a Lebron James talent on it.

Not true. LeBron is bank, and has several more years of prime earning ahead of him. I think his salary plus endorsements is over $70M a year. He would need to form a coalition, but that wouldn't be an issue for him.

He might be too activist an owner. He seems like he would have a hard time letting his people do their jobs. Les has the same problem though, so he might not be any worse.

He didn't build the Cavs. The NBA did by giving the Cavs 3 #1 picks plus 2 #4 draft picks for assets for the planned all along "Return" marketing strategy. The NBA tries to hide behind coincidences, but when coincidences continue to happen throughout the draft history, then it's not a coincidence anymore.
