Let's see if Case can keep himself from over throwing his receivers. Honestly though, I'm more interested in seeing Savage out there (guess because he's the new guy / rookie, with upside).
I mainly want to see if savage comes out with some confidence tonight. He looked very comfortable out there last week, much better than the first 2 weeks.
another must win. trap game before the opener for us. let's get some late hits on #7, send a message to the league.
Just got tickets to this game. (My brother had an extra ticket) I haven't' been to a game in years since I haven't been living in Houston. Drink recommendations at the game? Prices? etc. Thanks --- Looking forward to seeing Savage kick ass.
Not sure on alcohol but I know they now have unlimited refills on sodas. For those of us that flask into the game it's a beautiful thing.
Considering I'll still be at work for the start of both, I'm thinking Aggies on my phone followed by Texans on the radio for the drive home. Season opener vs Pre-season #4.....
No scrimmage is a "must win" and in all likelihood we won't win because we are going with all backups and the niners are going with starters.
So has Savage become Case Keenum before he went 0-8? I'm not drinking the koolaid yet. He has only been impressive on one drive in the 4th quarter of a preseason game.
I'm just hoping the kid can be good. Fitzpatrick and Case are not the future and the quarterback class in next year's draft may not be as good as the quarterback class that was just drafted.
Case already has so much football work on tape and tonight may not even make a difference...but if he is on the bubble...tonight might be his last chance at playing on an NFL roster...wish him the best.
bo'b has already said he's going with 3 qbs and the only qb (cousins) worth picking up off waivers will likely be held onto for a trade.
Unless something happened really recently, I'd think the Redskins have their own qb dilemma at hand. Go Texans
