Does tanking matter? We'll just draft another "impact" player at non impact position that does little to improve our team.

I think they are tanking while still trying to win games.

Tank, but Rick needs firing too... which is possible if we win <5 games.

As slow as McNair is, he makes moves after COMPLETE disasters.

Wow, this thread was posted before Arian's injury

The team is tanking right now because the players have read your thread.

We're tanking while trying hard not to tank.

Texans logic, if we start trying to tank we'll start winning!!! :(

My concern is when Clowney lives up to the promise
He will bolt because we don't want to pay him like Mario Williams

I would be surprised if they would have to break the bank to keep Clowney but if Clowney is good enough to command big money like J.J. _ they probably should let him walk or let J.J. walk. Can't keep paying guys on the defensive line QB money.

And the both of them won't make the secondary better.

Tanking involves losing 80-0 in the first half, not a measly 41-0.

Texans are a game out of first in the division and a game and a half out of the 2nd wild card spot. Seems a little early.

What are you playing for...when this exact same situation is bound to happen again next year. And shame on you if you think this garbage of a team has a chance to turn it around. This team is devoid of real talent and those evaluating that talent are terrible at their jobs.

Say what you want about that 2-14 team by Kubiak...they NEVER got beat down by 40+ before they put points on the board. 1 game is understandable...and could be considered a fluke. That was the Atlanta game...When it repeated itself 2 weeks later...that isnt a fluke. YOU have a TERRIBLE football team, and the right decision is to tank and draft a ____ing QB! We gave up 4...50 YD TDs...4 for them, b/c we couldnt tackle.

i was on this same boat last week but you have to be honest with yourself. they haven't looked good at all. players look like they quit on the season in the first half against miami.

But how will you feel if we make it to the playoffs and lose by a score of 50-0 in the first round? Would it be worth it?

The win against Cincinnati was impressive, but everyone else we beat are weak teams. We are a little bit better than the worst teams in the league. I do give the Texans credit for coming back from the dead, but let's not kid ourselves about how good this team is.

Let's see how we do against New England. If we play a good game against New England, then I will eat crow.

    LOL

The team is playing much better. They have improved and are playing better football. I'd take that anyday vs tanking. If they make it to the first round of the playoffs and then lose, that is progress. Then they'll have the chance to build on that.
