Say if we don't land Hortford, Whiteside, & etc... I wouldn't mind picking Noah up. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/joakim-noah-has-told-teammates-hes-done-with-the-bulls/
I definitely wouldn't mind him as a cheaper replacement for Dwight. Someone you can't ever question giving their effort and energy
I've thought about him. The Rockets LOVED Joakim Noah in his prime... but he's coming off a terrible season. What's the price? Is he in full decline or can he rebound from last year? I haven't watched him enough this past season to know.
I'd take him at a reasonable price This dude has all the intangibles - lot of heart, hustle, energy and passion. He is a leader and a true voice. He wouldn't stand up for any shenanigans. This team desperately needs someone like Joakim Noah
If he could ever get healthy, a front line of Noah, Motiejunas and Capela, Trez would be high effort and high intensity all game...
his role diminished this year under Hoiberg's first year. but at the same time his shoulder injury did cut his season short. As far as decline he was never really that talented. Primarily works with an extremely high energy and motor with good bball IQ. Imo can still very much be serviceable as a big still. But obviously at a reasonable price for a 31 yr old.
Demeanor-wise he's the complete opposite of Dwight, so he's got that going for him. But I hope we do give him a serious look, assuming he isn't planning to reunite with Thibs in Minny.
I love his fire and passion. Would rather see Capela develop though unless Noah came at a reasonable price and only played 20-25mpg as a starter sort of like Bogut for the Warriors.
