Yeah, he was defintely offsides. I was waiting on the flag, and was happy it didn't come out.

He actually takes out the TE, FB, and RB, it was a pretty awesome play. Anyway, I know that some fans are trying to make him a scapegoat, but he's shown some awesome flashes for a guy that's played less than 3 full NFL games in his life.

    Also, this.

Zach Mettenberger or Clowney? I am not kidding, this is somewhat debatable.

This really is just so sad. First five picks in the draft zero contribution.

Very sad. Look how terrible 2013 draft was minus Deandre.

LOL that is your take from this vid? A 3rd string TE falling into a FB with a RB running into the play?

At least they did get Nuk out of that draft. DJ has been somewhat serviceable... I think Blue has been the best rookie out of the 2014 draft so far... And I'm not sure that's a good thing.

    Lol...

I watch football but I haven't seen much Clowney. Dude hasn't played. You can show him tackling FB's all you want, how about some impact on the games. Negative criticism of Clowney is fully warranted.

That was just one play, there are others where he flashes but again, he's a rookie coming off his first knee injury....

My problem with most of the criticism is that it isn't intelligent criticism, it's chron comments.

I'll call a big game from him coming this weekend. The titans are awful so he should have a lot of opportunity. Don't expect him to do anything remotely graceful when he drops into coverage but I bet we see a few tackles for loss and hopefully a sack.

I wouldn't put in cash on that big game call if I were you. Not this week anyway.

I follow the Texans but more so because I used to live in Houston and it is my favorite city. Not really a fan though (Cowboys fan first).

Anyway... Not sure what stats say or etc but I took a particular interest in trying to watch Clowney last week and I just wasn't that impressed. Thought he got physically dominated most of the plays. There were a few plays in there I guess. Your gonna find out next year. Give him the offseason to bulk up and learn the NFL. Don't care if he played in the SEC, he is going to need more of a tool belt to be effective as a pro.

Not really surprising, he's trying to make a full recovery from surgery to fix a lateral meniscus tear which can be problematic and can take a long time to heal. It makes sense that they'd give him plenty of rest time. Of course, narratives are narratives so I'm sure some fans will go nuts about it.
