When every single team shoots lights out against you, it's your defense.

No Defense, No offense, No hustle, No Heart, No intensity.

    Simple as that.

I can shoot open threes at about a 50% clip.

There has been ZERO effort in staying in front of people.

everyone today is half step slow. The problem is in their heads.

i bet during shoot around they were all talking how blowing out this team. Everyone was thikning, others will step up and i will have an easy night.

well, when everyone is thinkiing that way, and the other team is determined, we get owned, period.

Its about not learning lessons. When you don't learn, you fail.

Poor defense usually leads to the shooting the lights out. But i agree with the above poster, when every team shoots the lights out against you, its your defense.

    Adelman's team never play defense.

It's a combination of both. It doesn't help that the players are clearly beginning to quit on Adelman. This might be the most disgraceful Rockets game i've ever seen.

Look, when every scrub team shoots lights out vs. our team it only means one things. Our defense sucks. Simple as that.

Defense is intensity, effort and desire. Our coach is not teaching that. Our players don't know what to do anymore.

If every scrub team in the league with horrible records looks like a championship contender against you... well, it simply means your defense sucks.

Yeah, we suck defensively. Get used to it people. Pray the all-star break brings an epiphany to this team. However, after 52 games and only 30 left to go I would say there is enough proof that we really aren't all that great. Forget championship at this point, better hope we manage to even break out of the 1st round at all.

Yep. If it were just a random occurrence, you could chalk it up to a team just getting hot. But when it happens against a bunch of different teams, it's your fault.

The Knicks were just hot. The Grizzlies were just hot. The Bucks were just hot.

I have never given up on the Rockets halfway through a game before tonight. I am absolutely embarrassed by our atrocious defense and fading team chemistry.

No shot blocking, poor on-the-ball defense at the point, undersize PFs, confusion on the help defense, constantly leaving shooters open on double-teams...

There's a reason why the Bucks, Grizzlies and Sixers, for example, have had their way with the Rockets over the last several weeks.
