How come the Rockets didn't wear any throwbacks this season?

Man, I love those throwbacks, they bring back memories.

 

i have 2 of those jersey, a yao and t-mac

 

i like the white one from the championship days.. i think i might go buy one.

 

Simplicity is IN!!

 

They're in the middle of creating a legacy. Let them wear their own jerseys!

i wish they wore throwback jerseys. i absolutely hate our current jerseys. i've never liked them. i'm a big fan of the traditional jersey style. i hate the sleeveless shirt look that the rockets and 76ers have.

 

see I like our current jerseys. At least we can all agree they're better then the comic book ones.



But hey lets be honest and rational. The real reason for the much needed jersey change was to appease the Chinese government. I mean they're COMMI JERSEYS. The solid Red and White. COMMI. Good marketing move for China.

i think the first year they did throw backs they did the "championship" red then they did the 71 houston jerseys which are really popular. last year they did the championship white. really i think they have to go do either the san diego jersey which were a ugly green and yellow or go to our "favorite" pj jersey from a few years ago.

so i think between the two choices of doing a throwback that has not been done they made a wise choice to stay pat. though i would not be opposed to seeing the 71 jersey again or at the very least have an alternate road/home jersey like the black/white swingmans that are around. or possibly the black and red one that Rocketeer created in his impossible is nothing tmac wallpaper.

 

i just realized that the last time we won a playoff series was with those ugly pj jerseys with the flying dildo. wow..

 

Where can I get that jersey for the best price?

That's what I was wondering! I asked Jonathan Feigen about it from the Houston Chronicle. He didn't tell me why they didn't wear them, but he said there is no chance that they'll wear them during the playoffs. I think it would be awesome if they wore the 90s jerseys at least once during the playoffs.

 

They have to get league approval to do throwback or alternate jerseys. For some reason, it seems like teams can only do it every 2 or 3 years or something.

 

No hurry, we still have so many payoff games to play

i wish they sold those in the silky material players wear..

i would buy that for 100 bucks. maybe.
