Let's hope in two years he leaves Houston. we can enjoy 20 more lottery seasons and 20 more 14th picks.

So he didnt talk about working on defense, went to MDA to make sure he will have the Beardsanity role as defacto PG, and will focus on recruiting this offseason ...

The best way to recruit players (including Stars and friends like Durant) is not by hanging out with them, it is by playing great team basketball at both ends. When the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers and Thunder calls, you know what you are getting into.

Yeah, James Harden sucks, he just stuffs his face, gets drunk and parties and doesn't give a crap about winning. A total loser who should be traded for picks and young players before it is too late.

Just like Pringles our coach who sucks, is too old just tells the players to outscore the other team and forget about defense totally.

We drafted two stiffs who can't play, passed on virtual superstars still available in the second round because our GM just stuffs his face and is a loser who knowledge of basketball is limited to looking at spread sheets..

    Sheesh, Clutch Fans. :( :(:(

This is all that you took from the article? Seriously??

The Article doesn't say that he went to D'Antoni to ensure he'd be the de facto PG of the team. It says that D'Antoni would like to see the ball in Harden's hands still. Yes he will very likely be handling the ball a lot - and that's a good thing.

Also he talked about bringing in other playmakers - you could assume, that that means that there will be other players on the team who can create and who could potentially get the ball to Harden and other shooters/slashers in spots where they are efficient.

What's wrong with him talking to the HC early on to ensure they are on the same page? How is it wrong to find out early what will be expected from him? How is it wrong to find out how D'Antoni would like to use him?

The earlier he finds out those things, the sooner he can work on those things.

He said he wants to improve as a player and get better - who says this doesn't mean more focus on the defensive end? Just cause the article doesn't mention the word defense? Also, it is not like he specifically said, oh I will have to improve offensively or anything.

The guy wants to get better and has clearly not taken much of a break this summer thus far.

Some of you just have to ***** on anything the guy does or says - that's what it seems like.

In my book there is nothing wrong with wanting to improve individually and wanting to get back to winning basketball games as a team.

I mean he could have been content with his individual achievements (you know, cause according to some, he doesn't care about anything but his individual stats) and leave it at that - but no, he seems to be in touch with the coaching staff to work on whatever they want him to do early on.

    This board at times ...SMH

Well done Harden. You gave up the Olympics and summer conditioning to get Durant to the GSW!

I'm glad Harden stayed to recruit, otherwise we couldn't have gotten Ryan Anderson

I suspect he will be gone when his contract is up this is a new world, players are not afraid of leaving to a better situation AAU style to get a better shot at a ring.

No one's offseason matters anymore, not just ours.

If the GS Globetrotters lose a single game then it is a failure. The expectations should be that high.
