Make a play for Von Miller?

Clowney is on a cheaper contract.

Don't think we can afford Von. Gotta pay Brock.

Im sure Elway would die with laughter. Other than JJ, Von is probably the most dominant defensive player in the league

 

This is a process. Miller's not going anywhere.

 

And neither are the Broncos in general.

 

Not sure why it has to be this way... Elway HAS to make Miller the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. There's no way around it. They really should've locked him in with a new contract before it even got to this point.

 

Nah, Elway's pride will get in the way just like it did with Brock.

 

I wonder how much JJ Watt's contract is affecting this. He probably sees that JJ Watt is the best defensive player and don't want to pay Miller as much.

 

More like Fletcher Cox's contract with the $63 mil guaranteed.

As salary cap goes up contracts get bigger. Its just how things are.

 

Anyone know what's the latest on this, and by what date does something have to happen before it's either franchise tag or nothing?

 

July 15th...for the contract or Miller is locked in with the franchise tag for the one year. He can sign his tender at anytime after that though...or sit out the season (and lose money).


It doesn't matter.........Texans will not try to trade for Miller nor will the Broncos trade him.

So this needs to be move to the NFL section.
