Sounds like BS to me. On a 7M expiring contract sure, but not on a 5 yr 90M deal. There is a lot of bad blood
between him and Morey/Les too.

 

God please no. That contract is crazy. Couldn't even get him with that could we?

 

He'd be a better fit with Harden than Lawson, to be sure, but, of course, a much more expensive long-term contract.

I'm not saying it isn't a BS report, but is there really any bad blood? Rockets don't like to give out option years (they did make an exception for Dwight) so we lost Dragic.

But IF true:
Morrey trying to be opportunistic but Riley won't bite after the price he had to pay.
He can still get better than what the Rockets have to offer from Utah for example.
