Sorry everyone -- no scrimmage action today. They didn't scrimmage at all in this first morning practice and we were let in when practice was over. They will scrimmage tonight, but no media access to that one.

Here is Carlos Delfino after his first Rockets practice -- this was about 20 minutes ago. I also asked Chandler about his improved passing and McHale about Kevin Martin facilitating the offense more the past few days, so should have a couple more videos up as well.

I'm impressed, Clutch. Delfino comes across as a real pro. Reminds me a bit of Luis, who I miss a great deal. I think he's a solid addition, and heaven knows we need some maturity on this team. I bet you're having a blast doing this! Much appreciated.

    Scola's done.

Dude's best days are behind him. He looked like his knees were not working right last year.

I almost forgot that Delfino is on the roster. This team has decent potential. Nothing to write home about but it's gonna be a far and away more exciting than last year.

God man, Lin has to cut down on dem TOs. There's clear indication here that he is gonna be a bust for us.

    SMH.

LOL. This is from McHale and I think it explains everything perfectly. Lin is still very much a work in progress a lot of people are acting like he is a finished project. Both his crazy supporters as well as his detractors. People need to lower there expectations, have some patience and relax.

Re: After last year what to expect of Lin going forward: McHale-- "Look, as in all things in life, there's a happy medium. He's a lot better than the guy that got let go twice but I'm not sure he's at that level for 82 games, it was a phenomenal level but he's playing well. We're going to rely on him a lot to run our offense make plays and make shots and just be effective for us. He's gonna have a lot of responsibility."
