Boogie Cousins is the most overrated "star" in the league... Not even top 15.

I've been hearing that excuse for him ever since he came into the league despite across the board mgt and coaching changes and player rosters. Boogie is a major reason for that dysfunctional organization.

Cedric Maxell who knows something about playing winning team bball said he wouldn't give a bag of donuts for Boogie and Danny Ainge put an end to the rumors linking Cousins to the Celtics saying he didn't want any disruptive players.

If winning is the mark of a star Boogie isn't the guy you want on your team despite his talents.

His horrible shot selection and decision making is on him.
Dude hasn't shown to be coachable yet either.

That's an excuse for not making the playoffs sure.
Many dudes have had to play or produce on sub par squads.

It's not a legit excuse for his overall individual play tho... Like I said he's average or below average everywhere on the court in his scoring.

Inefficient as hell for a big.

Yes he's an elite rebounder and foul drawer and sub par to horrible at almost everything else.

Boogie is a mediocre defender AT best.

Exactly.... He won't be the GUY... He's not a superstar... I do think he could be great playing alongside one tho.

He needs to be a secondary option.... So his inefficiencies will be lessened and his strengths will be enhanced.

Had his best season last year, playing for a losing team with Rondo as his distributor.

Harden loves him. Put him alongside Harden and let Rubio feed both guys and we'll be giving GS everything they don't want and more.

That's why the Kings should trade him to the rockets for Brewer and bags of potatoes

Looking at his efficiency is flawed imo. While theoretically a player should always be dialed in, we know Cousins wasn't. It's human nature to not sacrifice when you know there will be no return on that investment. And I can see it being pretty tempting to just chuck away if he did not trust his teammates or coach. I think the concern should be his attitude, not whether he has the ability. Efficiency stats when the guy wasn't dialed does not reflect his ability

No team is winning a championship going forward without Ricky Rubio.

Put him in an actual system, those percentages go up. He's actually a pretty piss poor defender, but a very good rebounder.

He's indisputably the best C in the league. First, Westbrook situation, then Cousins. The NBA league will have to true up those spots shortly.

I'm curious on where Cousins go(I think Boston makes a heavy push mid-season). But he is leaving Sacramento--for certain.

Boogie is no different than a guy like J.R. Smith. It's not an excuse for him it's just a fact. Put him on a winning team he will act different. I'd rather have a guy that hates losing so much he can be an ass than a guy like melo

People don't realize how ridiculously talented Derrick Coleman was
but he was a stupid headcase who became uncoachable

    By the same Token
Shareef was a good ball player that looked all world on the Kings
because he was the whole kings team. Went d*mn near his career
    without sniffing the playoffs. . .. .
