The Rockets are currently looking like an inconsistent borderline playoff team. This is all strategy and theatrics. Truth is we haven't seen the real Rockets yet. The real team is waiting to show out in the bright lights of the playoffs. In a couple of weeks, the Rockets will flip the secret switch that only true fans know they have and become the Clutch City Playoff Rockets. They will confuse and demoralize unsuspecting and underestimating opponents. Nobody wants to see the Rockets in the playoffs. The Playoff Rockets are disciplined, focused, consistent, efficient, sharp-shooting, ball-moving juggernauts. Playoff Rockets move without the ball, play hard at all times, score effortlessly, and make plays for each other on offense and defense. Playoff Harden is relentless on defense, takes care of the ball and doesn’t throw bounce passes in traffic. He is itching to show Curry and the world who the real MVP is in a run that matches Hakeem in ‘95 destroying Curry, Durant/Westbrook, Duncan/Kahwi, and Lebron with no mercy. Playoff Dwight rebounds ferociously, rotates on defense, sets picks without fouling, and gets position in the paint and gets fed an endless supply of easy dunks and alley-oops. Playoffs JB has hundreds of unstoppable plays that he is saving for the playoffs and keeps the team fired up and motivated for the entire game. Playoff Bench hits shots all around the court and creates countless matchup problems. Playoff Rockets can out shoot Golden State, and out roleplay the Spurs. They are itching to destroy both of them.
