He would have been grilled if he said "I was going to let my Tomball out"

I watched it live and Butler earned the tech pretty fine himself with his usual bad boy attitude. He should shut up and pay. He got his max money the other guy is paid pennies (for nba standards).

Thread title sounds like written by a disgruntled 10yr old about a guy that held hands with his crush.

I'm from the woodlands not Houston!

I have a problem with you saying that. Guy's not from Houston, why would he say he's from Houston.

I'm guessing because Tomball is part of the Houston Metro area?
That's as asinine as someone from Plano or Arlington saying I'm not from Dallas I'm from Plano or Arlington. Or I'm not from LA I'm from Inland Empire or from the Valley.
It doesn't matter. It's still part of the metro area of the larger city. It's just a bit silly to go out of one's way to try and not acknowledge it.

It's silly that it bothers you. Maybe he just wants to give pay homage to where he IS from, not the city next to his hometown

I can totally relate to Butler. Place where I live is closer to big city than Tomball is to Houston, but I'd never say I'm from that big city.

Im from Galveston. Do I sound tough when I say im from G-Town? If so, i plan on saying that if anyone ever tries messing with me. "I pity the fool that messes with anyone from G-Town". Yep, sounds gangsta.

Haha! Mel's, where my wife (not from the south) had her first (and final) taste of fried okra.

I'm from Magnolia. I feel like Tomball is the cutoff point to where you stop saying you're from Houston. So, Jimmy is wrong - he's from Houston - but I'm from Magnolia, not Houston.

(I tell everyone I'm from Houston when they ask where I'm from)

Also, fun fact - Butler is my mom's new favorite basketball player because she is a Tomball grad. Says she went to school with his mom back in the day.
