Hadn't seen this posted here but thought it was a quality post on reddit and made sense. We've all seen KLove is finding out it's not as easy to play the Chris Bosh role alongside LeBron and another all-star.

While the middle 1/3rd stuff is on point, it is a little too much terminology to state the obvious. They took a player who did something really well offensively and have made him do none of that while asking him to do something else.

    It makes no sense.

He also isn't quite as capable a player as some might have thought, but that's ok. He still could be plenty capable offensively in the right system.

And while a lot has been made of his defense, this is a guy who consistently put up the same or better defensive ratings than a LMA... who seems to be fitting in VERY well defensively with San Antonio right now.

I have no doubt if you switched Love and LMA we'd be having similar conversations about LMA in Cleveland and how good the Love fit in San Antonio is. These are second tier stars. The system matters. The system in the first place made them seem like borderline first tier stars. The system when they are option 3 or 4 is as important.

People joke about the big 2.5 but it really showed how much actually work Bosh probably put in to adapt his game to make that team work.

We've seen great role players take their role to all star level super role player (Leonard, Draymond) but how many number one options in their prime really learned to be super role player?

Maybe Sheed with the Pistons and pre-Khloe Lamar (post Clippers).

I'd deal Love for a wing, move LeBron to the 4, take over the world.

It all comes down to LeBron. The guys is supposedly known for being the perfect team player and making his teammates better yet i see no evidence of that in his entire career. Everyone regresses playing with LeBron.

This post is so off, it's giving me a headache.

Let's keep it short; imperfect data, dumb**** analysis, and random garbage.

If you're a limited average player, he'll make you relevant. If you're too talented, he'll subdue you to being an average player.

He makes average players look very good, he makes very good players look average.

Ironically, they HAD a wing fall into their lap (Andrew Wiggins), but LeBron wanted him gone to bring in Kevin Love to form another "3-star-team"

Well, according to Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald, and formerly of Bleacher Report, that's not exactly the case. Skolnick is about as good as it gets, and spent most of last season covering the Cavs. In a radio interview Thursday afternoon, he made the comment that the Cavs and Phoenix Suns were actually close to having a deal in place and agreed to that would send Love to the desert in return for a package involving Markieff Morris and Isaiah Thomas.

At the time, there would have been no assurance Love would have re-signed in Phoenix. According to Skolnick, it was something the Cavs gave consideration to and backed out of late in the discussions. Given the volume of Kevin Love discussions over the last few days, it's yet another entry into the Kevin Love Chronicles.

Love messed himself up by resigning even before FA started.

Should have at least listened to offers and see where he could fit best.

He took the easy way out.
