The 2012 Texans were 11-1 headed into an epic MNF showdown against the Patriots (letterman game) and well you know what happens next.
Next season they were supposed to contend with the addition of Ed Reed and LOL you know what happens next. (F*** Ed Reed btw)

The 2015-16 Rockets fresh off their first WCF appearance in 20 years, expected to contend with the addition of Ty Lawson (LOL) well look where we are now. 22-22, still in contention for a playoff spot given the significant drop off of the west this season.

Which team has physically and mentally frustrated you the most?

(IB4 FTW Rockets FTW eggball rant) :p

Who the **** is the guy in bold? I assume he is unathletic and fat if he plays the egg ball

Anyway, it's a disgrace to compare Rockets who play a real sport which requires skill, athleticism, tactics, strategy etc and have won multiple championships to the fake sport Texans who play egg ball that requires zero skill, athleticism, strategy or brain. Oh and get humiliated and embarrassed at home while putting a big fat ZERO on the scoreboard thanks to the leader the unathletic, loser JJ Fatt

As bad as Rockets have been this season, Rockets will NEVER EVER lose a game scoring 0 points. That is utter embarrassment and truly pathetic. Texans franchise should be banned

Rockets. I thought we had all the pieces to be up there.

I expected the Texans to win 5-6 games. I don't believe in that team until changes are made.

I'd have to say the Texans. They went from being picked by many to go to the super bowl, to being the worst team in the entire league. The Rockets were considered the 4th-6th best team in the NBA, and very few predicted them to the Finals. Now we are sitting as about the 16th best team in NBA, so the fall was much shorter.

Either way both were awful given the aspirations both organizations had before the season. That being said, going 2-14 in football is about the equivalent of going 12-70 in a basketball season, which is unfathomably bad.

Just think of this thread as another thread we all get to laugh at FTW Rockets FTW for not understanding football and why it's so popular.

I love watching football, particularly college football, but I agree that it's an inferior sport to basketball. Sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, etc. require a healthy mix of athleticism and skill. Football (besides the QB and kickers arguably) relies more on pure athleticism and not any discernible skill. Running, blocking, and catching are just basic athletic maneuvers.

You can be the most well-conditioned running back in the league and dominant. You can be the most well-conditioned basketball player but you can still be a garbage bench player.

Rockets more frustrating. We brought back the same team, addressed our biggest weakness in PG. Even though Texans came off that 12-4 season with Super Bowl expectations, we still had Schaub at QB.

    Texans, by far

    - 14-game losing streak in a 16 game season
    - The epic Pick-6 blooper real
    - Ed Reed debacle (no longer having Quinn and no replacement)
    - Cushing injured again
    - subpar draft for a #1 pick

LOL there is nothing even remotely intelligent about egg ball. There are no tactics, no strategy, no brains required. All you have to do is get as fat as you can and have amongst the lowest IQ's to play this "sport"
