The two guys that benefitted most by working out with Hakeem were Kobe and Lebron. In fact, I believe it was Kobe who first contacted him before anyone else to help with his post game. I think the thing is that Hakeem used his quickness vs the slow centers during his time and that's what helped him succeed. Centers like Dwight Howard are brute force players and not very quick laterally. Hakeem can't teach Dwight Howard how to be quick so it's not really ever going to be a benefit. But for Kobe and Lebron, they did benefit because they do already use their lateral quickness vs their opponents and now they are able to leverage certain moves in their post game too.
Lin playing with Kobe is great. At least Kobe look like Chinese while Harden look like a Osama Bin Laden lol.
We could have won in OT but someone else turned it over. So it's more like the sous chef forgot to cook it, hands it to the chef, who looks at it, and gives it to the customer uncooked. Still, at least in the next meal the sous chef cooked up a great steak.

lol at both of them (though to be honest, I couldn't actually recognize Worthy without the beard and the goggles )
I like how you assume I don't know him just cuz I said 'black guy'. I've been following Shaq since he was drafted by Houston in 1982
lin plays decently -> OMG WHY DID WE RID HIM FOR NOTHING lin plays poorly -> THATS WHY WE GOT RID OF HIM FOR NOTHING rinse/repeat 82x
Let's not ever wish Rockets kept him. For that money Ariza is a much better deal for them. Lin was never a good fit here - the team and Lin are both much better off.
And PAnd23 I know that's not what you were saying. --- What's interesting about the Lakers right now is that they are being treated like losers and they are responding a lot the way the 2012-2013 Rockets did. They are embracing the band of misfits/cast offs identity. Even Kobe referred recently to getting motivated from the low expectations of him this year. They are going to be better but they really have a lot of odd parts and I don't know if they have people like Parsons and Asik to help them pull it all together. But be prepared for something new from the Lakers - most of their rotation and mostly their starters are players who didn't play , or played very few games fir them - like Kobe , last year. Lin's just a small part of that.
