I know I'm about 6 months late (had a baby in the Spring so yeah...) but damn this new Tame Impala album is blowing me away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qay6t5UpnhM Kind of hard to describe the type of music to folks who really aren't that into that 60's psychedelic scene but this new album definitely appeals a little more to chilled out funk and soul. Previous albums had alot more psychedelic rock jamming ala early Pink Floyd but this album seems to more on shorter groovier tunes with more synth and lower tempos. I dig it.... check it out if you haven't had a chance yet, and even if you don't think you are hipster enough.
More UK rock, got this from Pitchfork: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-fiJUlXeWPY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Bought the new Silversun Pickups album. Better than neck of the woods, not as good as Swoon but still a good album. Some of the songs are very Smashing Pumpkins like, which is probably why I like it so much.
In honor of his birthday, I've been listening to nothing but the Buddy Rich Big Band all day today. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/InEAjJphrgk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It's not just that the song is great, but I could watch these ladies over and over again. Ah, memories. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FRhyXuywZUg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Spoiler 1280x720 --> 700x400 I promise. I will make sure to switch to full screen whenever I listen to your YT videos so that I can watch them in the resolution no smaller than 1280x720. Frankly, it'd be much less of a hassle for me to click the full screen icon than re-adjust my screen too small for your giant-size videos everytime I visit this thread. .
