Cisco is probably the reason it won't be a reset, remember that the final episode revealed (to those who didn't already know) that he's a meta-human himself and that his "powers" can have something to do with interdimensional physics....perhaps he could prevent some or all of the effects of the crazy paradox created by the death of Eddie. Just a thought.
The flash was about to get his ass busted by reverse flash yet again...even though Barry ends up being faster than him in certain instances like when he turned back time the first time and getting upto Mach 2 in the reactor. Makes no sense.

Lol of course Cisco is the Vibe, he has the same exact name. What I'm more interested is how Caitlin is going to transition into the the villain role of Killer Frost. Edit: Also wonder if any of the seasons will be based on the Flashpoint timeline which IMO is one of the best series DC has ever had.
Well I'd imagine fighting experience has at least something to do with it. Thawne is in his prime and would be a much better fighter. Take into consideration that not even future Barry was able to beat him and it probably makes more sense. The equal of Barry in his prime is going to be better than Barry when he's just starting out.

I was wondering if the new Season warrented its own thread but Ultimately I think not This episode was meh. I was not happy about OG Flash getting kicked to the curb as soon as he left the pokey only to have OG ALT Flash show up Rocket River
This was a set up episode and I'm fine with that. If this was a 13 episode season I would be more disappointed, but there is just so much coming, I'm not even mad. OG Flash wasn't even Flash in this show, so I wasn't hurt when he left. OG ALT Flash, Jay Garrick, is actually a REAL Flash in the comics! You guys should be excited about that. And who says Barry's Dad doesn't come back as someone else form the other universe. Seriously, anyone can come from there now and be a different person.
Yea. . i know he was not a flash but I like the actor and the character. Thought it would be good to have him around esp after his whole purpose was to free him only to have him leave less than 48 hours after being freed I mean . .seriously Rocket River
I did think it was funny when they addressed their security issues for entry into StarLabs, only to have Jay Garrick walk right in at the end, lol.
I'm glad that they addressed the security issues because everyone could casually walk into Star Labs. But yeah, it was humorous how Jay just walks right in after they mentioned the security upgrades the whole episode.
I thought the first episode was terrific. I wasn't super excited for the season before watching it but now I totally am. And Jay Garrick/Earth-Two Flash? Fangasm.
