Holy smokes IM basketball season starts in 19 days!

I know there is alot of knowledge on these boards so I was wondering if anyone had any drills or conditioning exercises I can do over the next 20 days to maybe help me get into basketball shape.

I know I am going to change my normal workout routine from "sculpting finely chiseled muscles" to "building overall core and explosive strength" and starting to run sprint intervals, but anyone else have any ideas?

There are a million things you could do. Just depends on how serious you want to get. The things that still stick out to me from HS are "horses"* and jumping rope.

THIS ought to keep you busy. Lots of good stuff! :D

*Horses. You know..free-throw line back, halfcourt back, far ft line back, baseline back. repeat..

Wow freaky cooincidence. I had the same plan but I strained my back doing dead lifts and it sidelined me for 3 weeks. :( Now I am way behind cause I need to get conditioning back and get rid of some Christmas pudge.

Anyways, mac, I really was interested in playing in the CF pick up game but I had made plans to go back to Austin on Saturday. Thanks though.

And thanks for the tips. Those two links are going to be... interested for me this next few days. :)
