http://www.denverstiffs.com/2012/10...-offer-ty-lawson-4-years-45-million-extension He turned down 4 yrs, $45mil. I agree that number is low. Still no agreement yet. So.... Time for Morey to call Denver?
indeed, that seems low for Lawson. It will be a shame if Denver loses their 2nd best guy because they collected too many 6th men.
Can't trade Lin yet, though. Of course Moorie could have had the black Jeremy Lin and Euro Ty Lawson for much cheaper. I'd guess the Lawson situation will end up playing out via restricted free agency.
Who said anything about trading Lin? 3 guard rotation with Lawson, Lin and Harden, maybe even some 3 guard lineups.
Don't see that one at all. Too much money tied up in one position. Lin and Lawson are too ball dominant to fit next to each other and the Nuggets in all likelihood would want a PG in return if they were to trade Lawson.
I agree with you. Too many good point guards in the league to pay him more than that. I'm not convinced he's better than Lin.
Ty Lawson in his prime last year was not even as good as Aaron Brooks was in his prime......and Morey was already wise enough to dump Aaron's ass b4 his huge contract demand.....
