Magnolia Cafe is essentially IHOP - just significantly dirtier.

 

Just wanted to say that Kerbey Lane has been terrible at both the UT and original locations the last few times I've gone (burnt pancakes, cold queso, etc). Magnolia has way better food, but I agree that the restaurant is kind of gross on the inside.

Austin's traffic is worse than Houston's, in my opinion. Part of the issue is that Austin doesn't have Houston's concentric loops to deviate traffic away from the downtown area. Instead, they have a railroad track design that is analogous to Portland and Calgary, but far worse. Moreover, both Portland and Calgary have far better public transportation.
