We need depth. Id rather have 3 people at the 5 than 2 people at the 5. That's all. And NO I am not counting dMO at the 5 as one of the people.

 

I'm going to assume you've been around for a while given your screen name. What did you say to everyone when Chuck Hayes 6'6" if that was starting at center that year?

 

In the end, this is the only thing that matter. The Rockets aren't going to succeed or fail because of Adrien or Dorsey. In the greater scheme of things, neither are really that important. If they were, they'd have gotten bigger contracts.

 

Or when Charles Barkley at 6' 4 1/2" was starting at PF?

You're right sir, I have been around for awhile. The difference between Hayes and Dorsey is that Hayes has desire and a way better defender than Dorsey. After years in the league Dorsey looks the same as he did when he was here before. Also, Hayes was at least a minor offensive threat.

 

I wasn't crazy about Dorsey also, but you have to look at it from another perspective as other have stated...

Dorsey = 6 fouls and takes up a lot of space.. His job is not to be the main go to guy on offense... His job is to play defense, get rebounds and use those 6 fouls.

6 fouls will work great when we play Andre Drummond, DeAndre Jordan, and Andrew Bogut.

 

Not to mention that a Dorsey foul can likely leave bruises or lead to a concussion.

Morey's worst move ever. Hassan Whiteside was available and the least he could have done was trade up to 27 to draft Rudy Gobert.
