Chuck should play every single minute that Amar'e does, and should be the only one on the team that defends him one-on-one.

That way when Amar'e scores 12 points in 38 minutes, people will finally notice how excellent the Chuck-wagon is on defense.

D'Antoni has always been a tool but I don't have a problem with any of his comments there.

I didn't see anything he said that was wrong

The 25 points thing was a joke, of course he won't say "oh, yea Hayes completely tooled Amare last game"

i think chuck will contain Amare come crunch time and I look for Jordan Hill to really come out and do some work on the boards tonight to really stick it to his ex coach.

AB must be pretty respected around the league. Amare gives him a shoutout!

Brad Miller started the game in November, and Amar'e torched him for 10+ in the 1st quarter alone.

Chuck locked him up down the stretch, but he hasn't exactly been successful against Amar'e in the past. Stoudemire went for 23, 25, 35, and 36 in 4 wins over the Rockets last season (all of which Chuck started).

Hayes is definitely an excellent defender, but I'm still expecting Amar'e to get his. Hopefully the Rockets can get him in to early foul trouble...

the way you framed the question was leading and that's what resulted in antoni's quip. you made it sound as if chuck hayes is a significant problem for teams here.

no matter how good the defender is, a good offensive player always has the advantage. amare isnt worried about chuck hayes, which is the way u made it sound. its chuck hayes thats worried about amare.

although I see what you are saying, the East is tough.

Knicks are reeling right now, I don't know who needs this game more.

    1. Mr. Pringles is a pompous A-hole, per usual.

    2. However that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is talking about/doing. Like not playing Jordan Hill.

    3. In this case he doesn't know what he is talking about. Amare must have scored 1, 2 buckets at best against Chuck. Nearly all his points came against other guys. But even more than stopping his scoring, Chuck just generally made him look like a little girl in the game in NY. Not saying it will happen again but hopefully.

No problem with D'Antoni or Amare's comments.

Looking forward to the game. I'll catch the end. I work tonight. meh.
