    Is this guy even on the team? I read he was signed but I haven't seen him on the active roster. Is he still on the Vipers?

    We signed him to a 3-year contract with this year guaranteed

    And then assigned him to the D-League.

    D-League is great and all, but we showed that we're still soft on defense against high-scoring bigs. Worse yet, we allow some of them to become high-scoring bigs through our porous frontcourt (Pekovic).

    I wouldn't be surprised if we signed Greg Smith just to be able to use him as a trade piece. Apparently other teams were interested in him.
