Does look pretty cool. Luc Besson is pretty hit or miss at times but he can do action.
Interested in seeing the other Scarlett Johansen Sci-Fi film coming out soon Under the Skin.

 

Yuck. Any time anybody uses that misleading "10% of your brain" quote, I'm no longer interested. So overdone. So misleading.

 

Yeah it's mistaken cliche but I'm not going to get hung up about it. The feeling I got out of this movie was sort of like the idea of the Matrix if one person could realize that they and every human had the potential to be far more powerful than they actually were what would happen. It's a frequent Sci-Fi theme.

Anyway I would much rather look at Scarlett Johanssen than Brad Cooper or Keanu Reeves.

 

Is is just a coincidence that 'Lucy' is also a street name for LSD?

How long until we get some kind of Plot theory bridging this movie and the movie HER?

there was that movie Limitless that came out about the exact same topic just a few years ago. At least here Johansson gets some superpowers too

 

I wonder why the movie is so small? Maybe it makes the CGI look more convincing.

Don't mean to ruin it for you. But Lucy learning to use 100% of her mental capabilities is the beginning of a "evolutionary" path leading to Talousians.

And they aren't a culture of hotties, since they no longer need beauty; they can just create the illusion of it.

Is Limitless worth watching?

 

I don't get the positive reaction I'm seeing to this trailer. It seems very cliched to me.
