I'm actually more interested in how Lebron would perform under Phil.

Of course, he's a great player on any team but how would he work in the triangle offense. His post up game isn't that strong and he isn't as deadly an outside shooter as he may think. Maybe, it would just make him a better player as he would be forced to devolop these other areas of his game and not rely on his drive so often.

MJ/Kobe made sure they got better every season skill wise.
If they couldn't win a champion because their teammates were crap, they demanded better teammates or teammates get better. If they couldn't win because their coach was crap, they'd demand a better coach.

Label them selfish but the desire to win by any means is what separate them and LeBron.

MJ/Kobe want to be best basketball player of all time. LeBron wants to richest athlete of all time.

They'd be just fine, Lebron performed just fine, look at his numbers. The problem is the supporting cast.

Do MJ and Kobe wanna be coached?

RicBucher transition O doesn't fly in postseason. mike had issues most people aren't aware of. issues like lebron doesn't really want to be coached.

Sorry, had to slip it into one of these threads.

I think if any coach in the NBA could facilitate failure from Kobe or MJ it would be MIKE BROWN. The former "coach of the year" couldn't take Lebron and company past the 2nd round this year. This guy is such a moron. He's a TERRIBLE coach. Lebron just makes him look good.

Let's flip the script. What if you took Phil Jackson and put him with the current Cleveland team? CHAMPIONSHIP. Yeah, so Phil wouldn't have won his rings without MJ, Kobe, and Shaq....but MJ, Kobe and Shaq wouldn't have won their rings without Phil either. It's a mutually successful relationship. Lebron does not have a mutually successful relationship with Mike Brown because Mike Brown is a MORON.
