If the Rockets had won the lottery, my head would have exploded.

Thank goodness we lost. (probably the first and last time I'll say that.)

    We won! Last year!

    ...

Sorry. Hey, do you guys think it's worth it to get SF, considering what we gave up for him?

Actually, I was wishing we could give Memphis something better. I feel bad for Jerry West and Memphis fans. I have nothing against them, and since Gasol and West joined, I started liking them. If we indeed get a high pick this year, I would feel horrible as a Rocket fan(you ask a Grizzlies fan how they feel). However, since we are not getting the pick anyway, it doesn't actually matter to us it's 1st or the 13th. I feel we robbed Memphis on SF. Memphis and West deserve something better than losing SF and Darko/Carmelo, and get a 13th pick in return. They are doomed.

Yes we do need experienced veterans, ones that are not too expensive but young enough that they can contribute for the Rockets for years to come.

well the griz's owner that time was dumb enough to trade SF. and now, west is reaping all the crap this guy planted and west and the griz organization as suffering from it. i just feel sorry for west for reaping this crap when he did nothing wrong.

we don't need rookies, but i'm sure we'd love to have lebron, darko or carmelo. those guys all have the potential to be superstars and even though they're rookies would likely help us big time.

If San Antonio is dumb enough to sign Kidd and not go for frontcourt help then more power to them.

They don't have a running team that could hit the break with Kidd so he'd be running fast breaks by himself and that wouldn't be too effective. You need Kidd and players like Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson which clearly the Spurs do not....

I think it's great. We don't need another guaranteed contract for another rookie. Draft picks this year don't really help us. We need veterans. That 13th pick ... I don't miss it for a second.
