As of now I can't find the individual team schedule for just the Rockets, although it should be made available shortly. Here's two links for the entire NBA schedule, and you can pick out the Rockets games from there until an individual one is posted. http://www.nba.com/news/nba_schedule_one0001.html http://www.nba.com/news/nba_schedule_two0001.html ------------------ http://www.saveourcuttino.com
And by the way, not that it's much of a surprise, but the Rockets don't even have ONE NBC game next year. Pathetic. ------------------ http://www.saveourcuttino.com
Here's the Rockets schedule. And we have a grand total of... ONE National TV game which is on TBS. Sad how the NBA does this. the rockets schedule is at: http://www.nba.com/rockets/schedule.html by the way, dallas, vancouver, clippers, warriors, wizards, nuggets, sonics, bucks, cavs, hornets and hawks are not currently scheduled on NBC either ------------------
Clutch, when are you gonna start broadcasting Rocket games via real video on this site? ------------------ "Don't think twice, its allright"
How the HELLLLLLLLL do the Bulls have five games on NBC? Like anyone gives a fu@k about watching Boring Brand. ------------------
They probably didnt put us on because they did not want us to humiliate their Lakers, or Knicks or whatever. They do not want a Superbowl Sunday again. NBC can kiss my brown ass!!!! ------------------
The only thing about this that really ticks me off is that this is The Dream's farewell season. Not a very good sendoff for one of the best centers to ever play the game! ------------------
What did you expect? We weren't exactly a very good team last year... We've had our time in the sun the last few seasons. ------------------ "I wanna eat his children."
I like how the Blazers get 15 games, the Spurs 17, and the Kings, who are far from a lock for the playoffs, get 20. Gotta love the NBA. ------------------ A little bit better than I used to be
ChrisP makes a very good point. Dream will have an untelevised retirement tour. That sucks. Well at least I'll be able to see away games on local TV once I get to Houston this season. ------------------ Rockets Draft Obligations Summary http://www.gaffordstudios.cjb.net/
Now I guess the Rockets have to be in the playoff hunt at the end. Maybe then the networks would pick up a few games. ------------------
On a different tangent Look at the last night of the season. Some interesting playoff implications Minnesota vs Dallas Sacramento vs Denver Utah vs. Pheonix San An vs Seattle Three of these teams maybe battling us for the 8th seed. Rocket River ------------------
Guys, you have to admit, Sacramento is a fun team to watch. Now watch them get pulled off the air if Jason Williams stays in rehab. all year!! ------------------ HOOP-T ------------------
Cabbage- I understand your point. It's just really sad in my opinion that the Bulls, a 17-65 team that has attracted no free agents, gets on NBC and we don't. ------------------ http://www.saveourcuttino.com
Guys, the only reason we were on NBC the past several seasons is because of CB4. Now that he is gone, NBC has no reason to air our games. Considering our track record of nationally televised games (aren't we like 1-25 or something?), I'm glad we're not on national TV. Plus, if we suck again this year, only those of us in Houston will have to witness it. [This message has been edited by BigBad (edited July 27, 2000).]
While I agree Chuck got us some of those appearances, I don't agree they don't have a reason to air us. Some young player named, um, Steve Francis ring a bell? ------------------ http://www.saveourcuttino.com
true and once Franchise blows up we'll be all over NBC. Remember, a year ago nobody'd heard of Vince Carter either,Toronto was as foreign as Istanbul and NO WAY was NBC airin' that slop...now they got 19 national games. Once Stevie becomes the hero, they'll be all over us like funk on Malone! ------------------
The Bulls are going to be on because the NBA wants to highlight "Tank 2001." Besides, having the Bulls on is just one more way for the announcers to bring up MJ, and his successor: "This team is horrible. Michael Jordan keep them at the top for so long. There are only somewhere between 10-15 championships that don't have an asterisk beside them. Six belong to the Jordan era Bulls, and the rest belong either to Celtics or the Lakers (like last year for example). Of course, that will change since the Lakers (with the second coming of MJ) will win for the next 75 years. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." I know it makes me excited about watching the NBA on NBC, or on anything else for that matter. ------------------
Anyone know how many Rocket games get televised in Austin? I wanted to see Dream's farewell tour. Guess I gotta drop out of school, huh? ------------------
