What do you guys think of this? I'm hispanic and I know the NBA is trying to reach out to the hispanic community and support them but I think this is really stupid. The NBA is trying to hard. I know San Antonio has a large hispanic population, but one time is enough (like a Hispanic Appreciation Night). And Phoenix doesn't even have a large hispanic population...

and shouldn't it be Los Soles, or Los Espuelas?

I'm hispanic and I think that it is neat that the nba is reaching out like this especially since there is whole wall being built proposaled in texas and arizona.

It would be cool if the rockets ever put on los rockets

Phoenix is more than 30% Hispanic. I would say that is a fairly large percentage (although not nearly as high an in San Antonio).

I've been dreaming of this moment since carl herrera was here =). I think it's great, but they should go all out and go with the entire name change. Ah yes, and they should include others.. like china

It is, but Houston has a REALLY large Chinese population. Only behind NYC, LA, and The Bay Area.

It is stupid. Texas kicked Mexico's ass. If San Antonio wants to be Mexico, The Houston Rockets will just go Battle of San Jacinto all over them again. Remember the Alamo, mofos.

     huh?

I don't care what they want to call themselves as long as they don't change the city or location name. As the story goes "No!!!, we are not the Houston Rackets!!"
