Thought this is good insight on how the Blazer fans view this series...common theme around their forums seems Artest is gonna be their best defense against Artest. I hope their wrong.

I like it actually, they need to bounce back from this terrible loss and steal at least the first game. The Rockets have something to prove and need to start strong. However, I do not like our chances the 1st game and see us rather stealing game so expect:

    Blazers win 99-90

    Prove me wrong Rockets !!

[rquoter]Ron Artest takes bad shots outside the flow of the offense. Those who complain when Travis takes tough shots should take a good look at Artest. He's truly a flow-killer. He tries to carry the team but lacks the offensive skills to do so successfully. He's streaky, but is more often cold than hot. Mark my words, when this series is over Blazers fans will be thanking Artest for his poor shot selection.[/rquoter]

It'd be great if the Rockets could take this first game. We will need to set the tempo and the plan of the series if we are going to win it, it all has to start with game 1. Go ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have to come out strong and set the tone right away and make adjustments. A tall order but if we can do a good job for most of the night,we will win.
Edit: You type faster than me.It's My Fault, not yours!

I gotta say, if we can somehow weather the storm in the opening minutes of the game (Blazers fans are actually CAMPING OUT for tickets....it's gonna be a madhouse in there) and play solid basketball in the first quarter, I like our chances in this game. It's the Blazers first taste of the playoffs, and the intensity is going to be at an all-time high, as will the nerves. This is where our experience and mettle will come into play, and take over. Adelman, this is on YOU. PREPARE THE TEAM.

We all know we gonna get one game out of this...it's up to the Rockets if they wanna get greedy and get both.

Also, the Rockets cant let the Mavs game beat em twice.
