I would have expected to see Ward Connerly's name attached to alot more of this. I guess we're going on twenty years since Hopwood started the contemporary wave of suits.

And of course as soon as Harvard is 100% Asian, no Asian will want to go. Lol.

This is a by-product of affirmative action.

Spots at Harvard are a scarce resource so someone has to give up something. And Asians are often unfairly categorized as meek bookworms who are not "well-rounded".

I would rather see this :

"who said they'd rather universities use income rather than race in affirmative action policies"

than race-based admissions process. End result would largely remain the same as blacks/latinos are generally poorer. But the hard-working Asian immigrants who push their kids to study hard won't be penalized at least. A case can actually be made that a poor student is more qualified than a rich student with comparable grades and scores. I don't see how a case can be made that blacks/whites/latinos are automatically more "qualified" than an Asian with comparable grades.

I've come across many studies showing Asians getting the shaft on ivy league admissions over the last 20 years with respect to test scores...just too lazy to post them, lol.
    <-atypical Asian here
