Hi fellow CC'ers, Saw in the NBA pregame show the other day that LeBron James is taking cryotherapy regularly. I'm intrigued. Burning 500 ~ 800 calories per session of 2 minutes sounds really good for me. Not to mention that it can heal muscle injures. Has anyone done this? Does it really work? Your feedback is much appreciated! http://www.wtam.com/articles/wtam-local-news-122520/top-athletes-using-cryotherapy-13563265/
That's the thing. I've googled several articles about this. All sound like they've worked out the science part. People don't feel too uncomfortable in it.
Yes, it probably costs enough and is uncomfortable enough that it diminishes your willingness to return. Just guessing though. Hard to believe it just costs $25 if it burns that many calories and speeds healing. What do they do, reuse the liquid nitrogen for a week? Seems that alone would cost more, though I admit to not knowing the going rate for such a commodity.
What if the trade off was something like: It'd get rid of most of your body fat, but your penis would shrink by 20%. Would guys do it?
