Alternative satellite/cable box to Dish in Sugar Land?

Hey guys,

I am thinking about switching from Dish Network to cheaper alternative satellite/cable box. I am a Dish Network customer and my contract with Dish has ended this month and I don't want to keep paying over $100 bill to Dish. I feel like it is worthless for me anymore. I am aware of Sling TV and tried it for 7 free days trial, but did not like it because it only allows one account for single watching and it also lagged. The At&t U-verse wont be available to service in Sugar Land. What do you recommend for me in terms of cheaper satellite service/cable box? I appreciate your feedback.

I am in Sugar Land farther up 59 and this area don't offer U-Verse, weird.
