Playoff matchups tend to create new rivalries/hate towards other teams that you never thought of hating before, or just increase your hate for that team to another level. So my question is, who has been your most hated playoff opponent so far this year? Some of the things to consider for each team we've faced from my point of view: Dallas Mavericks - Dirk Flopping mastery - Pretty Boy Chandler Parsons (Cuban nightclub photo) - Dwight/Tyson Chandler altercations - J J Barrea continuous complaining to officials and just plain looking annoying - Cuban running his mouth - Houston vs. Dallas Rivalry Los Angeles Clippers - Blake/Paul Flopping - Dwight/DeAndre Altercations - A-hole Barnes Dirty play/mouth - Scrub Austin Rivers Mocking Harden Golden State Warriors - Steph Curry media princess acting all cute and angelic - Draymond green and his douche-bagginess - Way too much Media love for Warriors - Bogut Dirty play - Moving screens and generally getting away with too much I vote Mavericks! Beating them was just too satisfying
Tough one. I have to go with the Clippers though. Dallas is in the process of becoming irrelevant and despite all the ridiculous Dirk flopping we had to witness I just wasn't feeling the fiery hatred inside me. Can't stand Blake Griffin. Can't stand Chris Paul. Can't stand Matt Barnes. Between Blake's non-stop complaining and just general D-bagginess and Paul's flopping, the Clips infuriate me. Felt so good to knock them out. Warriors are definitely inching up there though with the arrogance and media love. I know its been said before but they truly believe they are God's gift to basketball. Somebody needs to put them in their place. Nobody better to do it than us.
This is tough. I don't rate the Mavs as they had absolutely no chance of winning the series. I voted the Warriors over Clippers, though I think it's close. Chris Paul is more annoying than Curry but gets much less media hype. Curry is a twerp and reminds me of Austin Rivers when he showboats (dad am I doing this right?). Thompson and Redick are too boring to annoy but I guess Redick hurt us more for a few games. Matt Barnes is far worse than Harrison. Draymond Green and Bogut are much dirtier than the Clippers' bigs. The Golden State bigs coupled with the team's reputation sealed it for me.
Dwight and DeAndre had some physical moments where it could've escalated and there was obviously a lot of tension between them. or atleast that's what I thought
I am a fan of Klay Thompson, Deandre Jordan, Blake Griffin and to some degree Dirk Nowitzki other than that screw the Warriors, Clippers and Mavericks.
I agree I was actually torn between the Mavs and Clippers. Blake Griffin's complaining and flopping, that weird look on his face and that stupid mouth piece! But still Muck the Favs!
Easily the Warriors even though I love Mavs getting stomped. The things that the Warriors get away with on both ends of the court without even complaining to the refs. Everything is handed to them on a silver platter. The moving screens by pretty much the whole team seems to be what they focused on in the season since most players on that team do it. Even worse is the announcers rarely call it on a replay.
Warriors easily. They play a lot like the Jazz from the 90's, with their holding on screens and hacking constantly in the paint. Wouldn't shock me if Steph starts playing in short shorts.
I actually despise all three teams, Mavs for Cuban and Parsons douchebaggory Clippers because they flop and whine and Chris Paul is dirty as hell GSW because of their arrogance and illegal screens and Bogut's bs on the court that literally never gets called
It really tough between the Mavs and Golden State. Mavs because always Mavs, but Rockets don't even seem to exist when they play GSW. Harden had 45 points and Curry's fall is the topic of conversation.
Can you add 'Mavericks, Clippers and Warriors' ? I can't pick one ... I'd rather pick them all.
