Great player to watch over the years and arguably the greatest player to ever play in the NBA at his height.

Would have been almost a no-brainer if he didn't torpedo his career the past two seasons

Hes probably waiting until a star player gets injured so he can swoop in and save the day(and dominate the ball).

I have very little basketball insight, but I have always felt that Iverson was the most talented guard in the league. I think knowing, freshman year in college, that he was going to be a top pick and multi-millionaire, kept him from evolving socially, emotionally or professionally. It's genuinely sad, because he's always been obscenely talented, and not a particularly bad person; but it seems like he had such a rough, rough upbringing that he never really learned how to trust, lead or possibly even accept criticism.

Hate to see him go out this way. A while ago I said if he retired that he would come back but I just don't think I'm so sure now.

Seriously I have never seen someone so consistant, fall off so quickly. He went from MVP seasons on the 76ers to a ball-hog reduced role on the Nuggets to pretty much no playing time on the Pistons, and then he found his final resting place on the Grizzlies. WOW.

From the way he moves around and such, I would have said he has a few good years left in him. What a way to go.
