Ellis is good and definitely revived his career in Dallas, but he isn't in the same breath as Harden. Ellis will command attention, but nothing compared to Harden and Harden's passing ability is far superior to Ellis'
With his contract and player option he is virtually untradeable. The Mavs would have to give up assets to get someone to take that contract right now.
