Is he gonna be a Carl Landry? Aaron Brooks? Rudy Gay? Kevin Durant?

He should be our no.1 offensive option but will he end up pouring in the points?

he could score as much as 24ppg. however, the rockets have other options and are a team that like to share the ball... brooks, yao, scola, bud, etc... those guys are going to get their shots too.

    i think we'll see a very efficient 20ppg.

Why did you list 4 guys who play a different position than he and have completely different styles of play?

I'd just like to see him play over 75 games. His jumper i trust, his health is another story.

He won't be anyone you've listed. Try again.

I honestly think he'll be top 10 in the league in scoring this year.

I wrote those guys down as examples only due to their scoring output and our familiarity with their scoring output.

I don't think style of play matters, as everyone here knows how exactly how Kevin Martin plays and how everyone else on that list plays.

    Me too...

    kevin martin will be:

completely healthy and recovered from injuries
playing again in a very familiar system dedicated to him
be the number one option on the team
his wing partner does not take any shots away from him except to space the floor and save his energy on the defensive end
chemistry with the team from being with the team for 8+ months

    ..........=.=
WTF.......I didn't put those lists down as to compare them to player to player...I put them down to to let each of them represent their scoring prowess.
I.e. kevin durant is 30+ ppg scoring champ while carl landry is a 16ppg underrated scorer.

Then you should have asked if he would be a Rudron Garooks because they both average the same amount of points.

I think he'll get about 25 points a game. He was really impressive in the preseason, and he averaged about 24 a game when he was at his peak. He's back to form now and having Yao in the middle and such talented teammates will only help his game. Martin doesn't need to have the ball all the time to be effective.

24 sounds about right. He looks a little bit bigger this year (just IMO) and he has looked good this preaseason. I really think he will amp up his D and passing a bit and really emerge as a star.

I think he's more of a Shaq in his prime. Either that, or Nash in MVP form. Hopefully some sort of combination of the two.

Wait, who are we talking about again?
