Not to state the obvious, but... Obviously any injury that causes otherwise relatively successful young men (and 41 is still young), with beautiful young kids, to kill himself, is something that is really serious. You just feel so bad for his family, for others family where this is an issue.
Yeah, Hoffman is who I was talking about On page 1, such a mess, the amount of concussions he's had is crazy.
The first time I saw Hoffman was at Bay Area Scwhinn in Pasadena. He was 14 and riding for skyway at the time - the amount of air and the tricks he was pulling on a portable quarterpipe was unreal at that time. I remember leaving & wondering why I hadn't really heard of him before - Even though he was only in the expert class, he could've challenged the Pros at that age
Man, that guy has seriously messed up his body. Hopefully he manages to hang onto to his health and sanity for as long as possible. 100+concussions, wow.
Wow, I didn't know he was in a bad car wreck in addition to all the bmx abuse his body has taken over the years. Hoffman has had so many severe concussions where he was just ko'd cold for minutes his brain must be a mess.
