Rockets announce they have signed Clint Capela to the @RGVVipers. Going to be fun watching his progress there.

once bev is back I would think Johnson will be sent as well. Just keeping up for depth right now.

Can we send Dorsey there too and Black? Too many grade A scrubs on this roster right now.

Or watching him not progress. Wish he didn't seemingly force his way on to the big club. CC looks to be far from ready. Maybe he will show well with the Vipers so that he can be included in a deal that will net the Rockets something to help push them into a championship level team. That's my hope. I don't think the Rockets have the luxury of waiting to see if he will develop.

Dorsey been in the league for almost 9 yrs. He'll either swallow his pride or slit his wrists.

IIRC, Joey had a good time back then in RGV. Too much of a good time perhaps.

Any word on okafor's condition..their clearing a roster spot for a purpose right?...I missed last game and I was wondering..did nick johnson play?. It would've been a good time to play him while missing so many players

It's hard to judge a defensive player's skills in limited minutes, but Clutchfans claims to know everything. A player known for rebounding and blocking shots will have a much harder time showcasing what he can do with limited playing time. D-Mo gets all kinds of playing time, and all he could do was put up 16 and 8 one time out of five or games.

Does this clear a spot? I thought he still counted against the 15 man roster

I'm not super familiar with how this works, so forgive me if this is a basic question.

Do we have a free roster spot as long as he's down there? Could we now sign a free agent, like Emeka or Ray Allen?

NO, we do not have a free roster spot.

Capella has been assigned to the RGV Vipers, however, he is still a member of the Houston Rockets.
