...So Harden will get that extra motivation to torch the Warriors in the WCF Dream-on-Robinson-in-'95 style! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hW4uXlRGAF0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (go to 1:25) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/n_-9Z2LF4fI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> ALSO Rob says the Rockets were 0-5 against the Spurs (actually 1-5) in the regular season and we all know what happened that Conference Finals!! Spoiler IT'S HAPPENING
Even though I always appreciate an opportunity to watch highlights of Hakeem dominating in the 95 playoffs, this is a completely different situation. MVP us a regular season award. I think Harden should win it. It would be cool if he won it. But I wont be too disappointed if he doesn't. What happens during the playoffs is much more important
Sadly, I don't think we will ever witness a pure and thorough domination of an MVP ever again. I actually felt bad for Robinson at one point. The look in his eyes was like a deer in the headlights.
I completely agree. Before Harden gets MVP, I want some playoff success. Getting MVP, and then getting ousted in the first round would be miserable. He probably is literally the most valuable player in the league to his team, but unless Dork Elvis can improve this roster, I don't want it.
The dude is busting his ass for us every night ... and what makes it worse is the fact that us not winning even one playoff series isn't troublsome for management. I hope he gets that MVP for the amount of **** that he got last year (especially for his D) and the work he's put in. The rockets play pick up ball with subpar coaching (who else would let it fly?), and sadly , Morey is still pushing for it in the post season. Even if he were to play at Jordanesque levels, I don't think it would get the job done.
There isn't any guarantee that he will "gain extra motivation". By the way, would you agree that his fans" not wanting him to win MVP would be...demotivating?
I wish us Rockets fans could just be happy w/ the fact that we have a MVP caliber player. Like seriously. It's either Steph or James. No one else is in the discussion. Why can't we live with that?
You people care more about Harden winning an opinion-based award than the Rockets not being a real contender to a title. I hope Harden looks down at you people and use you people as motivation.
