Schulz is a graduate transfer so he is eligible to play right away with only one year of eligibility. Should be an open competition for the job given the new staff. Still think the job will end up going to Ward. He was playing so well down the stretch.
Greenberry is good. He just got cut down by the incompetence of (possibly) the worst offensive coordinator in DI/FBS history.
New Day I can see Herman turning Farrow, who was already very good, into an offensive star that will generate a lot of buzz.
Would luv to see this happen for the coogs http://www.chron.com/local/education/campus-chronicles/article/UH-should-be-in-Big-12-board-chair-says-6089909.php
"Put pressure on the presidents;, say, 'If you don't do this, we're not going to fund you for this,'" Fertitta said in a meeting with the Houston Chronicle's editorial board Thursday. "It's just the way it is. That's the way to do it." Same old Tillman, what a smarmy ****sucker that guy is. I had no idea he was the Chairman of their Board of Regents. Hilarious that his ego thinks they can fight UT and Baylor in the lege. Good luck with that, jackhole.
Kirk Bohls (yeah, I know) gave UH some pretty good run in the Austin sports page today. Nothing new or earth shattering, but it's good publicity.
FBS "Power 5" football is already run like an organized crime syndicate. Why not bring in a billionaire with... experience... in these types of settings?
I freely admit that I am biased, but Tillman Fertitta is small, so small potatoes, comparably to the real power players in the State. He also has few friends that matter. Billionaire? No. Why can't the City of Houston, diversified Energy Capital of the World, find a handful of guys who aren't Horns or Aggies, have some civic pride, and amp up the UH fundraising x 10? (That and the student involvement at events has to improve). Make the conferences want you, if you build it they will come, that kind of stuff
Because he's a small potato billionaire that has the audacity to challenge the way more powerful and awesome UT billionaires! What an ego on him!
