I'm wondering what is Parson's ceiling. Could he be a Scottie Pippen level side kick on a Championship type team?

Parson is posting almost the idential numbers as Scottie Pippens 2nd year in the league. 14.4 pts (both), 6.1 (pippen) vs. 5.8 (parson) rebounds, 3.5 (Pippen) vs. 3.6 (parson) assists, 47.6% (pippen) vs. 47% (parson) shooting percentage, 33.1 (pippen) vs. 36 (parson) minutes per game.

I think hell peak arohnd his 6th or 7th season. Hes still going up there and once all the players like lebron wade and kobe retire in a few ears, he may become the 2nd best player at his position behind kd

    Lol?

You are saying you would rather have Parsons over Paul George and Batum?

I can name more if needed.

tayshaun prince level player. Border line all-star/above average starter. 3rd option on a contender.

Unless granger leaves george will play SG. And yes id rake parsons over batum. Barnes wont become a star. Beasly sucks. Melo will retire with lebron in about 5-6 years. Wallace isnold. Pierce is old. Only sfs id take over parsons is kd or george. Unless a rookie coming into the league becomes the next lebron

If he really takes care of his skin he could really become a lot more athletic.

Parsons is only getting better from here guys. He will only stop improving once he gets worse.

he actually looks better with the messy hair and neckbeard look

as for his game, don't think he will get that much better, his athleticism is limited. he has a lot of room for polishing little things of his skills hto.

threads like these with rhetorical questions are always pointless.

Nobody knows how good he can get, he's still young. all we can hope for is more consistency and anything better than how hes performing now will be a surprise.

I project him to be better than Prince. In just his 2nd NBA season, he has already matched Tayshaun's best season career averages.

Parsons reminds me of a younger Mike Miller circa 2004 Memphis Grizzlies. A good role player at the wing w/ tough defense and high basketball IQ. He would be perfect on a team like the Spurs, they get the most production out of each role player. But on the Rockets, the coach is asking him to do everything: Defend, shoot 3's, rebound, create off the dribble, etc.

He's never going to be at the level of Durant, Batum, Lebron, Carmelo, or Gallinari, but those guys are taken, highly paid, and unlikely to be traded anytime soon.
