I thought about it, but then the minority doesn't vote as much, at least not with this type of question.
Maybe not this year but at some point he has to be judged by on court performance. If we're a first round exit this year he should be on the hot seat. McHale is his guy so there are no excuses.
His job is to get the players that will help you win. It's the coach's responsibility to find away to win with the talent he is given.
I saw the thread and wondered what idiot wanted to fire DM. Then I saw RV6 started it & became confused (which isn't unusual according to my wife), because RV6's one of the last people I'd put on my idiot list. Then I saw it was just an annual poll, so I calmed down & voted "no". You don't fire a top2 or 3 GM.
Before getting Harden, the people who wanted Morey gone were the pro-tanking morons who thought the only way to get a superstar was through the lottery (and in most cases gave little thought to how many years in the lottery it typically takes to land a superstar). Now that we have two superstars, the same people want him gone because we haven't won a title after two seasons with Harden and one with Howard. Whatever.
And yet i'll still get some "are you crazy" responses lol......the result is obvious, but i always think it's interesting to see what the margin is every year.
anyone who genuinly thinks morey should be fired needs to get their head checked. He isn't infallible, but if you evaluate him relative to his peers hes done a pretty darn good job
