one of the greatest PGs in history. yeah he hasn't been around much the last couple of years, but it's still a sad moment that he's done. He was the initiator on the team that started pushing the hell out of the tempo--something that has become much more commonplace now
Oh man, love Horry, but that hip check was such bull****. Such a cheap play, iirc they then suspended him (not much loss for the Spurs at the time) and suspended Stoudemire basically ruining the series.
One of a kind player - his combination of creativity, unselfishness, and raw shooting skill may never be duplicated. It was an honor to watch him play and he's definitely in the top 5 for "90s/00s players I'd excitedly tell my kids about 15 years from now". It sucks that his career ended in a string of injuries and it sucks even more that LA fans were so vicious to him about it. But his legacy will endure in the influence he had on the game.
I hear he wants to spend more time with his grandchildren and get a hip replacement. Rocket fans extolling the accomplishments of Flopton should be ashamed. The poster "Kill Dirty Stockton" needs to come in and spit on his retiring carcass.
