Best wishes and hopes for recovery to your wife too!

Rockets are a great diversion from real life. We're just in a lull where any news is epic. Sucks that so many people are going through this cancer ordeal.

I heard a story on NPR about this athlete who had melanoma that eventually spread to her lungs. A research scientist came up with a way to coax T-cells to fight the cancer and shrink the tumors to the point of complete eradication. She has been in full remission for several years after this experimental treatment.

    link to the story: http://www.npr.org/sections/health-...-harnessing-the-immune-system-to-fight-cancer

All the best to you and your loved ones!

I'll bump this in case Cod ever wants to enlighten us.

Sorry if I get anybody's hopes up when they see the thread.

Weeelll..... It's a painfully slow summer for basketball fans. Some thing interesting has got to shake out soon, this is getting ridiculous. Not even a rumor of anything.

You mean painfully slow "August." That's very common, as GM's don't really get any vacation time except for August.

This was probably the most active summer in the history of the NBA, considering all the teams with huge caproom. Rockets signed 4 free agents, two rather major, following a lot of news about Horford and Bazemore as serious DM targets.

That's why I bumped this thread. If there were anything he'd beard (rather than not heard), he could post it here. Alas, 't'was but a moment he did visit us.

But the writing is on the wall that possible 2 or 3 of our potential starters could be on the move. When I say slow off season I mean I'm getting anxious to see what's up with Bev, DMO, Cap, or Ariza.

I wish you guys would stop fishing for Codman, and let the man rest. If he's got something on his chest... you know he'll share with the rest.

i don't think that's relevant to any potential move..i think that's just the code he uses for his source.
