http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3856179 I'm not making a joke. Both of my parents are diabetic and I hate the though of them ever needing a limb amputated.
That guy's been through hell with all kinds of health problems. Putting my Jazz hate aside (for everyone except Deron and Brewer, anyway), I feel for him. Hopefully he'll have no complications from this surgery.
it can be a genetic disease..so you gotta be careful bro. Starting from now, be careful what you eat and exercise frequently. My grandma died of diabetic related disease too. It's really a horrible disease.
Sad story indeed. At the end of the day it is just basketball and so I hope nobody makes a lame Jazz joke or takes a shot at this guy. That would be the ultimate classless act. I hope he has a full recovery.
Sorry dude your about to be disappointment in me. ... ........... Scroll down. ..... ... ... .. .. .. No. but on a serious note. I hope he gets better.
So he had the same surgery as Cotton Hill? It sucks, but I can think of worse things. I do hope he has a full infection-free recovery without complications.
Yeah. You're telling me. Someone I know just died due to, amongst other weight-related things, complications from diabetes. Rivalry and team hatred aside, I think all Rockets fans' prayers go out to Larry Miller and his family. Not even Karl "Child Rapist" Malone deserves that.
Wow, this is one Jazz related material I can put my hate aside on. My prayers go out to him and his family...
Diabetic neuropathy leading to sensory loss combined with atherosclerosis(hardening of the arteries) and a decrease in blood supply to the limbs resulted in this tragic complication. I have to watch for Diabetes because of a strong family history too.
In the 50's, my mother's mom was diabetic and had a leg amputated. She died a week later. My mother died from complications of diabetes. My wife is diabetic. I know what that family is going through. Nothing but good thoughts, vibes and prayers go from me to the Miller family. Pardon me if I continue to hate on his team and their fans though!
Our prayers go out to Mr. Miller . This goes beyond the rivarly with the Jazz, this is real life. We really hope that he recovers soon. It is really nice that he has a supportive family and organization to back him up. God bless him .
