Danny Granger is one smooth criminal. Had a ridiculous 2nd half of the season last year and picked up right where he left off tonight. Can't remember why he fell so far in the draft (was supposed to be a top 10 pick) but he's as versatile as a young Tracy McGrady with a better upper body.

    33 points (10-16 FG), 2 treys, 11-12 FT, 3 blocks, 2 steals against Detroit.

This guys scares the hell outta me every time we played the Pacers last season. His 3-point game is dead on.

Plus they now have Ford and Hibbert, they can probably sneak in for the 8th seed.

No wonder he was so high on my fantasy pre-draft list.

I hear about Granger all the time over year, he is only 25 and getting better. The one weakness in his game is passing the ball. If he can get his passing ability better, he will be a GREAT one.

I had him and Gay in pretty much every fantasy league last year. Good times.

He's a good player but how good can Indiana really be if he's their best player?

Don't forget Dunleavy had an unexpected beast of a season last year, too. If the Pacers want to start doing some playoff damage in the next few years, they better capitalize on their players' shooting abilities before they all get old and creaky.

<13 ppg is not an unexpected beast of a season---paricularly for someone who was the 3rd pick overall

19.1 ppg shooting over 47% from the field and %42 from the 3. 5 rebounds and the 3.5 assist per game aren't too bad either. Too bad I didnt know he was injured when i drafted him for my fantasy team.

They look pretty decent imho. I think they can sneak in the East playoffs this season. Larry Bird and co. have done a decent job in trying to turn the roster over. If TJ can stay healthy and Granger keeps taking it to the next level they can surprise other East teams like the Hawks and Wizards.

I just don't see enough scorers when I look at that team. Granger always looked like a second option to me also but given that he's improved each year it should be interesting to see if he can deliver this year in the post Jermaine O'Neal era.

I worries about a makeup effort from the Celtics. The next game for them is against Houston.
