Houston playing well even when not all cylinders are firing. If Harden plays like Harden, defense is adequate, and our bench squad comes out with hustle and energy then we take this one too

C'mon NBA don't sit Harden for a great cross conference matchup

Toss up. The Hawks are not as hot as they once were. Smith is going all out for sure. Brutal five day stretch coming up. Need to get one or two of these next games, and absolutely can't lose them all. Showed some grit against Cleveland, but the Rockets are still not clicking on all cylinders.

A loss means nothing. A win means a lot.

A win would be amazing but I would much rather get the Memphis win at home than put all our effort into beating the Hawks on the road.

If Harden is Suspended for a game or 2 and the Rockets get blown out will this help his MVP status?

Defensive adjustments and rebounding will be key. We will have to defend the pick and roll well, something we aren't good at as a team. We can't give open looks to Korver, slowing down Teague is important.

Good ball movement and making open shots will be very important. I hope Smith will have a big bounce back game against his old team.

I hope McHale will have them ready, despite my doubts about his game preparation.

Sure would be nice to get a dub after the last game we had against them, but a loss to an East team, no matter their standings, shouldnt be overblown (looking at you clutchfans)

Yeah I hear you, but we have to be at our best against the Hawks. The Memphis game will be much harder, if we play poorly against Atlanta.

Remember, it's easy to lose in the league and much harder to win.

I hope Harden will not be suspended.

Rest Harden. Save him for Memphis which is a crucial game. Cuz Rockets ain't winning this one whether he plays or not.

    Why this comment?

It's not like Harden looks worn out. Ever think that he wants to play? And we're the 4th best team by record dude. This team can beat anyone if they play well

We're gonna need our big guys to play big. This means, among other things, that DMo will actually have to try to get rebounds.

Have a feeling we'll drop one here after a huge win against Cleveland.

And honestly I'd much rather win the next game against Memphis if we can only win one on this back to back.

Tough 4 in 5 coming up, I'd be happy to go 2-2.

    Hawks have been average lately.
