I thought this was pretty stupid of him, when he tweeted it. Who wants to see a pro-athlete brag about getting a police escort to a concert? Even if it's allowed under certain circumstances, don't tweet about it, especially, if it's going the wrong way in traffic.

Misleading title. I thought some police woman (or man, I guess) banged Lebron for money.

Lebron has to go and ruin it for all rich people.

For the po' people, what you do, is you bring your old crutches, and whoop, to the front on the line you go.

He hired off-duty cops to escort him to a concert. Turns out anybody can do it granted they have the money.

Did you know that Rich people hire disabled people to help them get to the front of lines at Disney World. True story.

I do not care at all. In fact, this is now something I would like to do granted I had the money.

Reason #26 Lebron is better than Kobe:

    Kobe gets investigated by cops.

    Lebron gets cops investigated.

(Being partly in the protection business) I'm sure Lebron is plenty staffed with bodyguards and drivers out the wazoo. But its he probably wanted to have some official publicly identifiable "move out our way" police vehicles to clear his entry in.

Like the article said, coulda just done it with permits but the law bends in celeb/rich "dignitary" favor where they might skip over legalities. Circumvention is not a good thing but this seems less outright cheating the system and more Privileged People Problems (if those guys dont get, and probably wont get, in much trouble). Yeah of course its about the money.
And people do. Im far from any industry expert at all but theres so many people trying to do the wannabe bigshot thing that theyll hire out protection just to "look" the part. Except theyll get in trouble not upper crust a listers

I'd do it too if I was rich. Seriously we pay athletes millions, millions of dollars. Many people don't get what athletes do in a year, in a lifetime. Money talks. And money says that celebrities, athletes in our society are more important than the average Joe. I'm not saying that, society is. Blame society.

Society obviously doesn't know better. We're obese and watch the Kardashians.

Doesn't give him the right to have special privilege to use the wrong side of the road with police escort. If he has money, then he should have taken a helicopter like how other rich people do.
